dude? :)

how did you do the whole taskbar in samurize?
i've been fiddling around with an ancient taskbar plugin which doesn't really work quite well so i was wondering... how? :p indulge me into a little of your knowledge? :D

i'm afraid i really did use exactly the plugin you're talking about. the big white bar is just a graphic underlay. you could try to get a newer version of the taskbar plugin, but i can't really recommend it after all... you cannot compare the oldfashioned samurize stuff to litestep. if you want to get rid of the windows shell, just use LS ;)

forgot this, could i use some coloring and design ideas to make a mod of this?

i'm going to use my previous litestep work but mod it so that it goes together nicely with the ECNMY07/SONA/GAIA VS's

just hope that my skin is still as stable as when i made it, but stability is probably if not directly related to the dll's used...

any ideas what might be causing the instability?
the ls version i use is the latest one found on LSDev

yes of course, feel free to do whatever you want to ;)
when i have problems i just try to use different dlls, that's the easiest way in my opinion.

litestep theme maker :)
used that because it simplifies the process a bit (also uses syntax coloring and stuff :p)

i know, that's how i did it the first time, but i'm a little low on inspiration lately and having to create new images and stuff is a little painstaking for the moment :)

i'll get around to it sometime, but just not right now...

but thx in advance for letting me utilize some of you concepts :) i especially like the ECNMY07 concept that novoo put forth, love the colors

yeah i know i used litestep before and i checked for an updated version but the project hasn't been updated in about a year (if not more).

I have some litestep themes in my gallery (one of 'em is on the third page of all time favourites :p)

problem is, i tried the gaia litestep theme but it gives errors galore, one is for rainmeter (not installed) so that's my own problem but there's also a memory could not be read error and the thing crashes constantly...

i'll have to stick with explorer for now...
